Shoreline protection

With the recent high water events of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River many property owners have seen considerable damage to their shoreline. This erosion mitigation project included building an 80 foot long armour stone retaining wall, fronting it with loose gabion stone and building a secondary earthen clay berm as protection for the main residence from rising water levels. Shaped and contoured, the final touches included flagstone water entry, sod and an adjacent storage shed.
